These terms cover the ImproveCV pre-launch page only: scoring a CV, and joining the list to get the full report. There is no account to open and nothing to buy here. When ImproveCV opens, a full set of terms covering the product and its plans will apply instead, and you will see them before you can sign up or pay.

1. What the score is

The score is produced automatically by an AI model reading the text of your CV. It is an opinion about how the document is written, offered to be useful. It is not career advice, recruitment advice, legal advice, or an assessment of you as a candidate.

We do not promise that a higher score gets you interviews, replies or a job, and we do not promise the score is right. Two runs of the same CV can land on slightly different numbers. Treat the fixes as suggestions to judge for yourself, not instructions.

2. What you upload

By uploading a document you confirm that it is your own CV, or that you have the permission of the person it describes. Do not upload anyone else's CV without their say-so, and do not upload anything unlawful, malicious, or that you have no right to share.

Your CV stays yours. Uploading it gives us no rights over it beyond scoring it for you and, if you ask, emailing you the result. How it is handled is set out in the privacy notice.

3. Fair use

Scoring is free and open to anyone, which means every run costs us and nothing but good faith stands between the page and abuse. So: use it for real CVs, at human speed. Do not script it, scrape it, resell it, or try to route someone else's product through it. We rate-limit by network address, and we may block a visitor or withdraw access to the page without notice if it is being misused.

4. The discount code

Giving us your email gets you a one-time code for 10% off your first order once we open. Its terms are simple:

• It works once, on one order, for the person it was issued to.
• It applies to any plan, monthly or annual.
• It does not expire.
• It has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for one.
• It applies to the plan price. Any tax due is calculated on the discounted amount and added at checkout.

If we never open, the code is never redeemable. See the next section.

5. Opening date

"Opening in August" is what we are working towards, not a commitment. Software slips. Joining the list is not a contract, does not reserve you anything, and does not oblige us to launch, to launch on time, or to launch with any particular feature. Nothing on the pre-launch page is an offer to sell.

6. Availability

The page is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. Scoring depends on an outside AI provider and can be slow, wrong, or unavailable. We may change or take down the page at any time.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the pre-launch page or from any decision you make on the strength of a score or a suggested fix, including lost opportunities or lost earnings. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

8. Our material

The page, its wording, its design and the way we score a CV are ours. Do not copy or reproduce them. The score and the fixes we give you are yours to use however you like on your own CV.

9. Changes

We may update these terms before launch. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. If something goes wrong, write to us first and we will try to sort it out directly.
